Due to the many people who supported the program, Concord Wildlife Alliance (CWA) was able to significantly expand our role in 2019. We donated 67 processed deer or 1,968 pounds of venison to Cooperative Christian Ministry with the help of local hunters in 2019.
Many thanks to all who donated money to help us pay for the processing, to the hunters who donated the deer, to Rocky River Game Processing and Albemarle Meat Processing for all their hard work and to Christian Cooperative Ministries (CCM) for accepting and distributing the venison to families in need. A special thanks to our board member, Jack, who worked tirelessly to raise monetary and deer donations and picked up and delivered the venison to CCM.
