CWA's EDUCATIONAL EVENTS
Picture
Attend a Meeting! CWA holds a free monthly community meeting with an educational speaker on the first Tuesday of the month from September through May beginning with a short business meeting briefing followed by the speaker. Speakers cover a wide range of environmental topics. Learn about our upcoming programs HERE
ADDRESS: McGill Baptist Church 5300 Poplar Tent Rd, Concord, NC 28027

In addition to our monthly programs, we offer tours, events, or outings on a regular basis.
Tours vary and have included greenhouses, gardens, and wildlife sanctuaries.
Outings and Events have included movies, planting pollinator gardens, hikes, participation in the City of Concord's Earth Day event and holding the annual Kids in Nature Day.

NOTE: COVID-19 has caused us to have to cancel many events in 2020. Our community programs have been put on “hold” as we support the need for social distancing. However, we have found ways to meet virtually by hosting online programs and events, so check our Facebook page and the CWA home page frequently for current updates and news.
